Event Description

Come have a fun night at the Spinners and help support PYO. We have a full night of activities starting with our pre-game catch on the field, free burgers and hot dogs, fun in the kids area, and great raffle prizes. Tickets are available for all PYO families and friends.

Game Day Pre-Game Schedule (subject to change)

  • 5:30 - 5:45 Ticket holders can arrive and meet in the grass area in front of the UMass-Lowell rec center across from the main ballpark entrance.
  • 5:45 – 5:50 PYO friends and Family will enter the stadium through the service gate down the left field line.
  • 5:50 - 6:25 Kids are free to play catch on the field.
  • 6:30 All players and parents not included in the on-field events head to their seats
  • 6:35 On-field events begin

  • State Rep Tom Golden and State Senator Edward Kennedy will welcome the families
  • The PYO team that sells the most tickets will line up to take part in the High 5 Tunnell (players leaving the dugout onto the field)
  • The 9 PYO players that sell the most tickets will take part in BaseBall Buddies where they will accompany the Spinners out to their positions for the national anthem
  • The top selling PYO baseball and softball player will throw out the first pitch

In Game Activities

  • 7:05 Game starts
  • 7:15 – 7:30 PYO families and friends are invited to a free Hamburger Burger or Hot Dog in the Gator Pit area underneath the stands
  • 7:30 Everyone can go back to their seats and enjoy the game. The kids area is open and PYO families can purchase unlimited kids area bracelets for $10.
  • After the Bottom of the 3rd inning. Final call for Raffle ticket sales o During the Top of the 5th inning on field promotion. First Raffle prize winner is announced.
  • During the Bottom of the 5th inning on field promotions. The Second Raffle Prize winner is announced.
  • During the Top of the 6th inning on field promotions. The Third Raffle Prize winner is announced.
  • During the Bottom of the 6th inning on field promotions. The Fourth Raffle Prize winner is announced.
